A Gazebo digital twin of a medical-device system, used to run systematic tests and to validate collision-free trajectories before applying them on the real device.
Context
A medical-device company needed to validate the behaviour of its system in simulation before working on the physical hardware. I built a Gazebo digital twin — a simulation model — of the medical-device system, giving the team a model they could work against in place of the real device. The work is covered by NDA and is described here in anonymized terms.
What was delivered
A Gazebo digital twin of the medical-device system that the client team could work against. It enabled them to run systematic tests before deployment, and to generate collision-free trajectories that were validated on the model before being applied on the real device.
