Robotsix
Robotics systems engineering — design, integration and development for autonomous machines.
I'm Damien, a freelance robotics engineer. I help startups and research labs take robotic systems from prototype to reliable deployment. The domain is open: if it moves, senses or decides, I can help build it.
Services
- ROS2 integration & system architecture
- Embedded & low-level control
- Control systems design
- Simulation (Gazebo, Isaac Sim)
- AI integration, including LLMs
- Technical consulting

Selected work
LS2N Drone Armada — cooperative multi-drone control. Formation control for a fleet of drones cooperatively carrying a shared platform. ROS2/C++ controllers, disturbance-observer and model-free control strategies, full Gazebo SITL simulation of 4+ drones with configurable masses and payloads. Developed for the LS2N robotics lab (Nantes Université). Public repository →
Work in progress
Alongside client work, I'm building an in-house platform that applies LLMs and autonomous agents to software engineering and operations — the same automation mindset I bring to robotics. Current threads:
- Autonomous dev pipeline — an agent-driven ticket board that plans, implements and reviews code changes end-to-end (with a ROS2 bridge).
- Operator chat agent — an LLM assistant that drives the fleet: tickets, deploys, monitoring and diagnostics.
- Deploy & orchestration — self-managing deploy lifecycle and component orchestration across services.
- Workflow agents — calendar, email and cost-monitoring automation built on a shared LLM I/O layer.
All work in progress — currently more LLM/automation than robotics, but built on the same systems engineering foundation.
